Site Selection
Choose a location with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Avoid waterlogged areas — grapes need excellent drainage.
Soil Preparation
Dig holes 60cm × 60cm × 60cm. Mix excavated soil with compost (1:1 ratio) and allow to settle for 2–3 days before planting.
Planting Spacing
Space vines 2–3 metres apart in rows 3 metres apart. This allows air circulation and makes trellising manageable.
Watering Schedule
Water deeply twice a week during the dry season. Reduce to once weekly when rains arrive. Avoid overhead watering — use drip or basin irrigation.
Trellis Setup
Install a simple two-wire trellis at planting. Vines need support from month 2 onwards to grow upward and air-dry properly.
First-Year Care
Remove flower clusters in the first year to direct energy into root and cane development. This investment pays off with stronger yields from year two.
Delivery Areas
Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Minimum order may apply for delivery outside Kaduna. Contact us on WhatsApp to confirm.
